National Quality Standards

The broad objective of the National Quality Standard is to ensure that children in long day care centres have stimulating, positive experiences and interactions which will foster all aspects of their development.

To be accredited, a centre must comply with each of the principles to a specified standard. A combined process of a Quality Improvement Plan and external review determines compliance with these principles.

Prior to the process, parents will be notified of the approach to be taken at the Centre which will involve parental participation for all families.

Jigsaw OOSH Centres are committed to a high standard of quality care that fosters all aspects of a child’s development.
